Every student attempts a total of 100 Multiple Choice Questions, designed for direct national comparability across all academic streams.

Common Section
90 questions

Covering English, Mathematics, General Knowledge, IQ, and Current Affairs — answered by all participants regardless of academic group.

Group-Specific Section
10 questions

Aligned to the student's registered group: Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, Computer Science, or Commerce.

Because every student is assessed on the same structure, a single national ranking can be calculated fairly across all groups.
Exam Duration
100 minutes

100 minutes for 100 questions.

Marking Scheme
  • Each correct answer receives the assigned marks
  • Negative marking of 0.25 marks applies for every incorrect answer
  • Unattempted questions receive no marks
  • No descriptive questions — MCQ format only
